St. Johns River

Connecting Astor to its neighboring community in Volusia, the Astor Bridge is an iconic local landmark. Beat the summer heat with a refreshing dip into crisp clear 72-degree water at DeLeon Springs State Park. The 525-acre park produces 19 million gallons of water a day. You’ll find boat ramps, swimming spots, playgrounds, picnic tables and canoe and kayak rentals. Don’t miss a chance to dine at Sugar Mill Restaurant, located in a 100-year-old sugar mill.
