El Capitolio

Resembling the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC, El Capitolio is made of beautiful white limestone and granite and is one of Havana’s most striking buildings. It was once the seat of government and now houses the Cuban Academy of Sciences. Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes

Art lovers will appreciate the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, which features an impressive collection of Cuban and international art spanning colonial to contemporary works. Established in 1913, it’s divided into two buildings: one showcases Cuban art, featuring renowned artists like Wifredo Lam and René Portocarrero, while the other displays international masterpieces from Europe and the Americas.

Gran Teatro de La Habana

The intricate façade features sculptures by Giuseppe Moretti, while its lavish interior boasts grand halls and a majestic auditorium. 

Plaza de la Revolución

The Plaza de la Revolución historic square is home to the famous Che Guevara mural and is a significant site for political rallies and events in Cuba’s history. The plaza features the towering José Martí Memorial, which honors Cuba’s national hero. A mural of Camilo Cienfuegos adds to the plaza’s historical significance. As one of the largest public squares in the world, Plaza de la Revolución remains a powerful symbol of Cuban identity and history.

Parque Almendares
