Whether you’re into kayaking, offshore fishing and boating or restaurants, boardwalk shopping and snacks or beachfront lounging, you’ll find plenty to do along this Atlantic coast getaway.
Let’s take a look at some fun things to do from hotels, marinas or private boat dock rentals in Rehoboth Beach.
Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk

The mile-long Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is filled with everything a boardwalk should have … amusement rides, arcades and favorites like Thrasher’s French Fries and Dolle’s Salt Water Taffy and Candyland. Go shopping for t-shirts, souvenirs, gifts and books, or enjoy drinks and dinner at a variety of restaurants. The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand holds concerts and theater performances.
Funland, located near the south end of the boardwalk, opened in 1962. Enjoy games like skeeball, an arcade and rides like spinning teacups, boats, a carousel and more. Don’t miss the Haunted Mansion, a dark ride through a “creepy” haunted house. Yeah, it’s more on the groan-worthy than the truly scary side, but it’s a classic you just gotta do.
Jungle Jim’s River Safari Water Park

You’ll find a wide variety of family-friendly activities at Jungle Jim’s, which just so happens to be Delaware’s largest waterpark. It’s conveniently located off the Coastal Highway and makes a terrific spot to visit from private boat dock rentals. Spend the day splishing and splashing at the waterpark, ride go-karts and bumper boats, play mini golf or hit the batting cages. The waterpark has a wave pool, a lazy river, kiddie pools and several twisting turning slides.
Cape Henlopen State Park

The Cape Henlopen State Park has more than six miles of coastline and lots of outdoor recreation for families, couples and groups to enjoy from private boat lifts for rent. Check out Point Lookout, which is where Delaware Bay flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Henlopen was once a World War II defense site, and visitors can climb to the top of an observation tower at Battery 519.
Visit the nature center, go fishing at the pier or hike along the elevated boardwalk at Gordon’s Pond Trail. You can even borrow a bike and pedal around the Loop to check out the dunes, wetlands, maritime forests and the beach.
Hopefully, you’ve found a bunch of fun attractions to keep you and the crew entertained the next time you’re in Rehoboth Beach. Whether you’re staying at a hotel, resort or private boat slip for rent,
