Lake Anna, one of the largest freshwater inland reservoirs in Virginia, is a popular spot for boaters, jet skiers, kayakers and other water enthusiasts.This lakefront area is approximately 72 miles south of Washington, D.C. and about 66 miles northwest of Richmond, Virginia. Located in Louisa and Spotsylvania counties, the lake covers 13,000 acres and features several fingers and coves for exploring by water.

This popular dock and dine restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse menu. Choose from classic American dishes, fresh seafood and delectable cocktails while enjoying terrific views of the lake. Floating docks are right out front and make it easy to stop in for a relaxing meal.

For a laid-back and casual dockside dining experience, The Boardwalk on Lake Anna is a fun choice for the whole family. There’s a quick-service restaurant offering pizza and sandwiches. The complex also has an ice cream shop, a watersports store and a mini golf course. It’s an excellent place to visit from private boat slips for rent.

Renowned for its friendly service and cozy setting, Tim's at Lake Anna is a go-to destination for boaters seeking a delectable meal from private boat lift rentals. Tim’s is located on the top floor of the Boardwalk on Lake Anna. Their seafood selection is a highlight and offers favorites like crab cake sandwiches, spiced shrimp, fish sandwiches and shrimp scampi. The outdoor deck is a fun spot to enjoy a meal and watch boats and jet skis coming and going. 

Lake Anna Taphouse

Combining the love for craft beer and excellent food, the Taphouse is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Situated across the 208 Bridge from Anna Point Marina and High Point Marina & Lighthouse Inn, Lake Anna Taphouse is a terrific dock and dine restaurant to visit from private boat slip rentals. It features local, regional and national craft beer as well as wine from Lake Anna Winery. Enjoy hand-twisted pretzels, wings, Angus burgers and flatbread pizza while taking in lovely lake views.

El Gran Patron Mexican Restaurant is the newest entry to the dock and dine scene at Lake Anna. Located at Pleasants Landing at Lake Anna. Menu items include traditional Mexican selections like tacos, burritos, quesadillas and enchiladas as well as burgers, steaks, seafood and a wide selection of frosty beverages. Pleasants Landing is a popular spot as it's the only public beach, besides Lake Anna State Park, on the lake. There's a fuel dock, boat rentals, storage and entertainment such as concerts and special events.
